Give some examples (hugging, hitting, tickling). A confusing touch may be one that feels good sometimes, but sometime hurts. A confusing touch may be a feeling a child can't put into words. Teach your child to trust their uncomfortable feelings. |

Make it clear that if any older person wants to touch the private parts of his/her body, or wants the child to touch the private parts of the older person's body, he/she should yell NO and try to run to tell someone. Discuss the few exceptions. For example: A doctor examining the child. A baby-sitter helping him/her wipe after going to the bathroom. |
