Founded in 1976, Kalamazoo CAN is the area's leading organization focused on preventing child abuse before it happens. We work closely with hundreds of local volunteers throughout the year to help safeguard our children. (Volunteer opportunities.) We also provide specialized training for teachers, police officers, nurses, doctors, social workers and other professionals so they can identify abuse and report it quickly.
All new members receive a free resource booklet, membership card, bumper sticker and newsletter subscription. Members are also invited to special (optional) events throughout the year. Best of all, you’ll be helping to prevent child abuse and neglect in our local community.
